Expedition Book 1: Into the Rift

When Alex left the Air Force, she thought her days of adventure were behind her. But when the United Nations offers her a mysterious assignment, she can’t resist. Tasked with leading the first team through a portal to another world, Alex must grapple with the concept of being a leader.

But the other side isn’t at all what Alex expected, instead she finds a classical fantasy landscape littered with the myths of Earth’s past. While they start out as secretive observers, the team’s mission is quickly jeopardized, and Alex is thrust into the middle of the power struggle of a corrupt kingdom.

Unique Concepts

Some folks might call it a gimmick, but in my opinion the best books are those that can hook you with a great concept or idea. "What if this plus this" is a common pitch for a book, and I like to take that mentality as a challenge to come up with concepts that people can obsess over. When you have a good concept, the possibilities for story-telling are endless.

Captivating Characters

Characters are my personal favorite part of a story, and I've always had a deep personal connection to the characters in my books. I want to watch them grow, and see them face challenges. I want the reader to feel the same way, and so it's on me to make them as likeable, relatable, and interesting as possible. This is my number-one priority.

Thrilling Action

Action scenes are hard to write, but gosh do I love them. I've learned more each time I've written one, and I think they're a great way to keep a reader hooked, or keep the pace interesting. My novels are not all about sitting around and talking, there is combat, conflict, fighting, action.

Author to follow

This is my full-time job. You won't have to wait around a couple years for me to finish a trilogy, I plan on releasing at least a book a year, and working my way up to more and more releases as they're ready. I'm currently working on two series that will be several books long. I want to build a community of readers who can join me as I continue my author's journey!
